Classic Saona Island (Speed Boat + Catamaran)
Saona Island is considered a tourist paradise in the Dominican Republic, becoming the most visited place.
You can't miss this adventure on an island bathed in sunshine, tropical breezes with warm, crystal-clear waters and white sand. This small but beautiful island, largely bordered by coconut trees and which also has mangroves, with extensive beaches with calm waters, is nothing more than a tropical paradise desired by every visitor to the Dominican Republic.

Classic Saona begins in Bayahíbe, a small tourist town founded by fishermen and which today has become a Beach Paradise. Includes a stop at the Natural Pool, considered the largest in the Dominican Republic.
The Natural Pool is a White Sand Bank with a depth of no more than one meter, in which Starfish abound; There we will get off the boat to take a refreshing swim.

Get to know the island in the classic way, arrive in Bayahibe aboard a modern bus that will pick you up from the hotel areas, the round trip to the Island will be done by speed boat and catamaran and the order of these may vary depending on the organization of that day.

Activities in Saona: Walk on the beach, bath in its refreshing waters, play games, sleep under the Coconut Trees,

SPEED BOAT ROUND TRIP

One of the highest-quality Saonas in the area, you'll have the privilege of being accompanied by a Tour Leader speaking your language throughout the activity, who will be the same person you'll speak to, from the moment you book. You'll enjoy the island without the crowds and have plenty of time to enjoy this paradise. Thanks to the speedboat, you'll be able to discover every corner of the island.
We use biodegradable materials throughout the day on this eco-friendly, plastic-free tour (unlike other tour companies).

We'll take the shuttle from your hotel and drive directly (pickups only at hotels along the way), without deviating from the route, approximately 1 hour to Bayahíbe, one of the most beautiful towns and beaches in the country, where we'll board our comfortable speed boat with padded seats.
The first stop will be the Corals of Bayahíbe, where we can snorkel spectacularly to observe the colorful Caribbean fish (equipment included).

We'll drive on our speedboat for approximately 30 minutes to the second stop, Playa El Toro, where we'll see the pinkest sand and enjoy the most pristine and secluded area. We'll have plenty of time to stroll, enjoy the island, sip the included drinks, try our cake, savor a delicious piña colada or fresh coconuts, served by the island's natives, and take photos. We'll then take the speedboat again to reach the third stop.
Along the way, we'll see the famous Catuano Channel from the boat, where the sea meets the ocean and simultaneously separates Hispaniola Island from Saona Island.
We'll arrive at Mano Juan, the second-to-last beach with the only village on the island, where we'll enjoy a private buffet lunch, freshly prepared with non-alcoholic beverages, right on the beach. Lobster can be added upon reservation (an extra US$20, seasonal only). After lunch, we'll have free time in the village. This village is also home to the turtle sanctuary, where you can see newborn turtles or eggs if you travel during their season.
We'll be able to fall in love with the wild donkeys and take a voluntary walk through the village, where we'll explain interesting facts about the Dominican culture and much more. If walking isn't your thing and you just want the beach, you can stay on the beach.

After this, we'll take the boat back to Los Manglares, these spectacular trees in the middle of the sea, which are home to a wealth of marine life. With luck, we'll even be able to see a Green or Carey Turtle, as this is their habitat.
The most anticipated moment arrives! The Natural Pool, where we'll stay for about 40 minutes. We'll take a pleasant swim near the island in this marine paradise. You can drink and talk to the people from the water. It doesn't go deeper than your waist. This is where the starfish live on the bottom (and sometimes sting rays and other marine creatures), but remember that for their well-being, they can't be touched or taken out of the water. Put on your snorkel mask if you want to see them up close!

After the Natural Pool, the sad moment of returning to Bayahibe will arrive. With the best memories, we'll take our transportation and stop along the way to visit a giant store to use the restrooms, try local products for FREE, and find the best souvenirs at the best prices, where each item will have its price marked. ROUND TRIP BY MOTOMARÁN
(NATURAL POOL + EL TORO BEACH + MANO JUAN TOWN (SANCTUARY) + ABANICO BEACH​)

Departing from the port of Bayahíbe, we will begin the greatest tropical adventure, with this Motomarán tour along the Caribbean coast.
The first stop is the Natural Pool. A refreshing dip in the most famous Sandbank on the island is inevitable, visiting the house of the starfish.
Afterwards we will go to a beautiful virgin beach, Playa Toro, with crystal clear waters and white sands, to relax.
The next and most exciting stop is the only town on the island, Mano Juan, where about 70 Native families will show us their customs and culture, observing the most picturesque and typical houses there.
This town is also where the main Green Turtle Sanctuary is located, which we will visit, learning everything about their world and how it is dedicated to the preservation of this species by collecting the eggs and incubating them, and then releasing the little turtles into the water.
The last stop will be the spectacular Abanico Beach, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and then we will relax sunbathing under the coconut trees and its crystal-clear waters.

PRIVATE SAONA BY SPEED BOAT
If you are traveling with a small group or family and you preferred to discover the island at your own way, enjoy the adrenaline of arriving to the Island by Speed ​​Boat. Embarking at the port of Bayahibe, it will take us around 50 minutes to reach the island's beach, this will allow us to enjoy its waters in the calmest way since we will arrive first and will have more time than anyone else to spend on the island.
​
In this modality you can choose which of the beaches you want to visit (the price may vary depending on the distance), you can also add snorkeling.​
We will enjoy an exclusive lunch on the island with views of the sea, and then we will have more time to take the last swim before leaving for the Natural pool.

The Natural Pool is a few minutes from the Island, and there we can take a different swim in its shallow waters. Since it is your exclusive tour, you can choose if you want to spend longer in the Pool and divide the times as you like.

To discover this small paradise island and its natural pools, embark at 9:00 a.m. on our Catamaran.
We will sail the Caribbean Sea with an open bar and head directly to the island.
We will ensure that you can walk along the pink sand of Saona Island where you can taste the Dominican-style Buffet, to regain strength because after another dip on the beach, we continue sailing!
We will board our boat heading to the natural pool. Continue enjoying the boat or go down to the super crystal clear waters where it does not cover more than the waist. We will set sail back where you will dance with us and follow our choreographies crossing the Caribbean Sea.

Join us on this exquisite journey where we will first stop to do a beautiful snorkel with equipment included in the waters of Bayahibe, then we will enjoy a small breakfast to regain strength and leave for the island.
We will visit the only part of the Island with sun beds or chairs so that in addition to beauty you have comfort in this valuable moment. Enjoy several hours on the island, before returning to our catamaran to set sail to the Natural pool.

Don't forget that drinks will be included throughout the day. Once we are in the Natural Pool, you will have time to enjoy a snack, the calm waters of the pool or stay on board, while our Staff prepares the barbecue lunch with meats, fish and much more, which we will taste on board of our boat, in the Natural pool, being the only ones who have this privilege.
After lunch we will have more free time, where we can sometimes discover starfish (remember that they cannot be touched or taken out of the water), Stingray and turtles.
Once on the boat again, we will leave to Bayahíbe at the rhythm of our choreographies and Caribbean rhythms.
